We're looking for volunteers who can donate their expertise to help migrants, refugees and young people build digital confidence and find pathways into work.

How You Can Help

Volunteer opportunities

We have three volunteer roles, each making a direct difference to the learners we support.

Digital Skills Trainer

Deliver structured digital skills sessions to adults. No teaching qualification needed, full training provided. 2-4 hours per week in East London.

IT Mentor

One-to-one support helping learners apply for jobs, navigate online services and build confidence with technology. Flexible hours, mix of in-person and remote.

IT Equipment Technician

Refurbish donated computers and laptops for redistribution to our digital hubs and training sessions. Ad-hoc hours, flexible location.

What You'll Need

Who can volunteer?

  • Basic IT literacy for trainer and mentor roles, no teaching qualification required
  • Patience, cultural sensitivity and a genuine commitment to digital inclusion
  • Ability to commit to at least 4 weeks, we invest in your onboarding
  • DBS check required for roles involving direct learner contact, we'll support you through this at no cost
